How to Determine a Person's Character

There are three basic, rather simple ways to determine someone's character.

1)   Watch what they do.°   Notice how they treat other people.

2)   Note the result of their actions.°     What do they produce?   What are the consequences of their behavior?

3)   Examine the company they keep.   (See the sections below.)   Remember that people associate primarily with others who are similar to themselves.

You might also note what the Christian Bible has to say on this topic:

Adolph Hitler:

Adolph Hitler was the most famous, anti-abortionist of all time.   He was the ultimate no choice advocate.   He was an outspoken and violent opponent of abortion rights for Aryan women.   An Aryan woman who had an abortion in Hitler's fascist state was subject to execution.   In his speeches Adolph Hitler promoted his despotism in the name of God and in the name of Aryan supremacy and caused about 12,000,000 people to die.

Joseph Stalin:

Stalin was the Russian dictator from 1929 to 1953.   In the name of atheism, murdered 70,000,000 of his own citizens to maintain his power.

Saddam Hussein:

Hussein was the infamous dictator of Iraq from  1979  to 2003.   He ran a ruthless regime that treated women as property that denied every type of right to its women including abortion.   He  murdered about 2,000,000 Iraqi citizens in the name of his God.

Ayatollah Khomeini:

Khomini was the dictator of Iranian from 1979  to 1989.   Ayatollah Khomeini was a staunch anti-abortionist who forced motherhood onto Iranian women.   The following is just one example of his Iranian justice:  In 1983,  he publicly executed 10 Baha'i women, for the crime of "Believing in a faith that encourages equality between men and women and for organizing women."   These women included Iran's first woman physicist, a concert pianist, and three teenage college students.[1]   Khomeini committed his mindless murders in the name of God.   Even today, the Iranian government still pushes forced motherhood onto its citizens.

Newt Gingrich   ...

Newt Gingrich  -- Former Republican speaker of the House of
          Representatives  and leader of the Republican witch hunt against
         President Clinton:  

At the same time this ultra-conservative anti-abortionist was condemning Bill Clinton for immorality, he was himself having an adulterous sexual affair and had already been found guilty of lying to House of Representatives Ethics Committee.

In 1997, the House voted to reprimand Gingrich and fined him $300,000.   It marked the first time the House had reprimanded a speaker.   The action was based on House Ethics Committee findings (1) that Gingrich had used tax-exempt foundation money to promote Republican goals in a televised college course he taught and in televised town meetings, and  (2) that he lied to the committee during its investigation.

An update on the Gingrich hypocrisy:   On August 12, 2004, shortly after the popular, New Jersey Governor, James McGreevey,  acknowledges that he had had a homosexual affair and intended to resign his office, Ginrich was on the Fox network's Hanity and Combs talk show badmouthing  Governor McGreevey and calling for his immediate resignation.   Now here's the real slimeball behavior:

1)   Ginrich Has been found guilty of misusing tax-exempt foundation money;

2)  He was found guilty of  lying to House of Representatives Ethics Committee

3)   He's the first speaker of the House of Representatives ever to be  reprimanded,

4)   He, in essence, bought his way our of this scandal by paying a $300,000 fine.  Now he's so lily white clean that all the ultra conservatives want him spouting his mouth off their radio and TV talk shows.

5)   While he, himself was  having an adulterous affair, he was spearheading the witch hunt against Former President, Bill Clinton,

6)   He is still committing adultery today.    He divorced his wife and has married another woman,  a clear violation of the Christian values he publicly professes to follow:   
---  "... Do not commit adultery..."  Mark 10:19    
--  "... Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, 
           committeth adultery against her... "  Mark 10:11-12)

7)   And then he has balls enough to come on a TV talk show and condemn someone else's sexual misconduct.  
---  "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own
        eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote
         out of thy brother's eye."  Matthew 7:5 and  Luke 6:42
---  "... He that is without sin among you, let him first cast 
       the first  stone...  "   John 8:7

Shall we  talk about scum bags being let loose in the world.   Perhaps we don't need to.   Do you recall the line in the song "Where are the clowns?"

Bob Livingston:  Louisiana Congressman

Livingston, another hypocrite on the side of those attacking President Clinton, was set to replace Ginrich when information surfaced that he, too, had had adulterous affairs.    As a result of that disclosure, Livingston never became speaker of the house.

Oliver North:  A key player in the Iran Contra Scandal

Instead of ridding itself of this kind of secret-government criminal mentality, the ultra-conservative right wing set up Mr. North as a radio and TV talk show host.   His job was to peddle the party line in broadcast media.

Charles Keating:   

dissenting member of Richard Nixon’s commission on obscenity.  
Keating was so angry when the Nixon commission found no harmful effects from viewing explicitly sexual material that he wrote his own dissenting opinion on the report.    

Keating was later sentenced to 12 years and seven months in federal prison for racketeering, conspiracy and looting funds from the Lincoln Savings and Loan, and masterminding a banking and securities fraud that cost the taxpayer $2,600,000,000.00   (2.6 billion dollars)

At the height of his popularity, he even exposed and destroyed the reputation of a fellow minister for having illicit sex.  While preaching sexual purity and while condemning others, he was having adulterous sex in motel rooms with prostitutes.

Nicolae Ceausescu was another infamous anti-abortionist.   He imposed forced motherhood onto Romanian women[3] as part of his grand scheme for creating a Romanian dynasty.

The Hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church

 The Roman Catholic Church hierarchy is the behind the scenes foundation of the anti-abortion movement.  They have a 2000-year-long, bloody legacy of intolerance, intimidation and harassment, intentional deception,  lies of omission,  political and sexual repression,  heterosexual and homosexual hypocrisy,  religious and racial bigotry,  egocentric chauvinism, oppression of women, political tyranny and subjugation,  violence, vandalism, arson, and murder.   Over the centuries, they murdered millions and peddled repression and misery to millions more, all  in the name of God.  

Presently, hundreds of priests have been exposed and criminals committing homosexual acts with young boys in their care.   The Roman Catholic Church is still covering up thousands of past child molestation cases.   Cardinal Edward M. Egan, second in command at the Vatican in Rome (as of April 2002) is an accused pedophile who refuses to face his accusers.   

Instead of dealing with the problem, Egan has hired high-powered law firms and private detectives to examine the personal lives of the church's accusers.   He and the  other Vatican leaders are fighting to keep documents secret and engaging in tactics to minimize settlements.

North Korean Dictator, Kim Jong-il:    

In North Korea, the assault on women's reproductive rights has taken a bizarre turn in the opposite direction.   Kim Jong-il, a man with insatiable sexual compulsions,  rules by terror and runs one of the most oppressive governments in the entire world.   In addition to the brutality, starvation, forced labor, and murders instrumented by its leader, forced abortions are the norm.

Millions have been forced into North Korean concentration camps where most prisoners die in a relatively short time.  In these prisons, women are subjected to brutally and torture until they miscarriage.   Babies actually born are routinely murdered.

Karl Rove:    The brains behind the Bush politics.

Karl Rove is the architect who put his Christian-talking atheist-acting boss, George Bush, into the white house.   He is the master mind behind the sleaziest, dirtiest, foulest smelling, campaigning in all of American, political history.   He appears to have a complete absence of any sense of ethics whatsoever.   He noted for using anti-gay and anti-abortion rhetoric to gain votes.

The son of former President George Bush, Senior, is another staunch anti-abortionist.   The grotesque part is that George, Jr.  either believes the anti-abortion fairytale or he has sold his soul to the anti-abortionists in exchange for their votes.   In either case, it is hardly a quality any intelligent, spiritually minded person would want as a President of the United States.[5]

He is presently raping what's left of our natural resources, installing the next phase in the creation of an American fascist police state,[6] and  doing everything he can to reinstate forced motherhood onto American women.
