Opinions Don't Count:    

Nobody cares about opinions.   Opinions are simply beliefs about something.   Everyone already has their own beliefs /opinions.   They don’t need any more.   The abortion controversy is not going to be resolved by battering pro-choice opinions against those of close-minded, right-wing,  religious fundamentalists.    Futile gesturing^° won't save abortion rights, either.

Present Pro-choice Strategy:

Present Strategy Problem:   To date, the present pro-choice strategy has been strictly a defensive campaign.   This is simply no match for the aggressive, often-underhanded, attack tactics of the anti-abortion leaders.   Choice / No-Choice is a war to the death!   Abortions rights cannot be preserved from a defensive position!    The pro-choice is presently being outgunned, outclassed, and outmaneuvered by the anti-abortionists at just about every turn.   The anti-abortion peddlers have:

    Determined the playing field,

    Defined the language,

    Taken the offensive.

    They are very efficiently orchestrating a unified and coordinated assault on abortion rights,

   They are running an incredibly effective spin-the-truth campaign, and

   They have a clearly defined, long-term plan for accomplishing their objectives, a plan which incorporates the highly effective Kaizen approach^° to problem solving.

The anti-choice leaders are either fundamentalist Christians or members of the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church.   Both of these groups have a long history of (and are masters at)  manipulating the beliefs and the behaviors of their followers.  

 The Pro-choice leaders don't have a similar plan, or even anything close to it.   By comparison to the long-established track record of anti-abortion organizations, the pro-choice organizations are newcomers on the block.   The Choice voice is a novice competing against professionals.   It’s almost like sending local high school ball players out the challenge a professional baseball team.   It' simply not working.   Abortion rights are dying.

Have you noticed this pattern.    The people and organizations on the anti-choice side are the news makers and the people and organizations on the pro-choice side are the news reporters.   At the risk of being redundant, let me say this again:   YOU  CAN'T  WIN  A  WAR  FROM  A  DEFENSIVE  POSITION!   And you can't win by simply being the news reporter, either.    Is it any wonder why abortion rights are dying?

   Lets focus on the areas where we can make a difference.   
   Lets focus on activities that will make a difference.
