. The "I Am My Body" Proclamation Is a human being his/her physical body as the fundamentalist Christians claim? Does God really step in and create a brand new human being EVERY time a human egg and sperm unite?° If the forced motherhood promoters are correct, then abortion is, indeed taking a life, and secular laws are appropriate. But, they have a serious problem. They have no way to prove their claims, and strong evidence points to a different conclusion. Forced motherhood war is based on the un-provable, religious belief that "a human being is his/her physical body." This faith-based belief conflicts with the scientific evidence which tells us that matter is not matter at all -- that everything that appears to be physical is actually only energy -- and that this non physical energy is controlled by consciousness. Science has yet to find any evidence as to what human consciousness is or where it is located. No evidence whatsoever has ever been found indicating that human consciousness is part of the physical body. You might also note that the evidence indicates that body cells have a life cycle of their own with a maximum life of about six or seven years. Some organs such as the live recycle all the cells in a matter of a few months. The "I am my body" belief also conflicts with the Christian Bible which, in numerous passages, clearly distinguishes between the spirit which inhabits an Earthly, physical body and the body, itself.° The religious question here is: "Are you your physical body?" or "Are you a non-physical spirit being who simply inhabits a physical body to experience life on Earth?" If humans are non-physical, spirit beings as the Christian Bible tells us,° and as the physical evidence seems to indicate, then intentionally terminating a pregnancy is the biological equivalent of halting work on a construction site. If this perspective is correct, then when a pregnancy is terminated, the spirit being (who would have entered the body if it had been fully formed) simply enters a different newly formed body at a different time. . |

. Life's Greatest Mysteries: We cannot justifiably force unwilling women, naive young girls, an hopelessly addicted drug addicts to become mothers without finding answers to life's greatest mysteries. We do not know when life begins, or if it even begins, at all. Perhaps birth and death are simply changes in form and movements into different dimensions of reality. We do not know the nature of life. We don't know what life is, what its source is, or how that source functions. We do not know the nature of a human being's relationship to that source. We do not know how life originated. We do not know where we came from. We do not know how we got here on Earth, why we are here, and where we are going when the body dies. The forced motherhood leaders claim to have answers to these question, but their so-called answers are nothing but un-provable, conservative Christian, religious beliefs. Even the official Roman Catholic Encyclopedia acknowledges that these questions are unanswerable.° And what about the rights of those who believe in a different religion? What about the rights of those who believe in reincarnation? What about the rights of those who believe in no religion, at all? . |

. God's Conception Magic Act: God's Instantaneous, Supernatural, Transcendental, Conception Magic Act° is the foundation upon which the entire anti-abortion war is based. God's conception magic act is one of the religious belief of conservative, fundamentalist Christianity. It's also an un-provable, religious fairytale. Its
origin dates back into antiquity and has been handed down, (without
change) to present day Christians from
those who controlled the Roman Catholic Church during the "Dark
Ages." These people
believed the Earth was
flat.°
They also engaged in all kinds of despicable,
criminal behavior such as extortion, outright lies, arson,
torture, and murder.°
But please don't believe us. Examine the evidence.
See the page titled: Abortion
and Christian History.° Billions of people do not believe the conception-magic story. They follow religious beliefs that teach reincarnation.° Even millions of Christians don't believe in conception magic. They believe that the Christian Bible is correct because in Genesis2:7° it says the life begins at first breath. There are also millions of people who believe in a Divine Source but do not practice any of the organized religions.° They don't believe the conception magic act story, either. . The Forced Motherhood Leaders In more than ten years of researching this issue, this author has yet to come across a single forced motherhood leader or a forced motherhood follower who is not: 1) a fundamentalist Christian, 2) a conservative Catholic, or 3) a member of the Roman Catholic hierarchy. That's not to say such people don't exist; it's that they are extremely rare. On the pro-choice side, there is almost everyone else, including millions of open-minded Christians and the vast majority of those who acknowledge the universal spiritual principles.° For an inclusive list, please see the page titled: For Whom Do You Speak?° The anti-choice stance of the forced motherhood leaders is based solely on Christian theology. Their single-pointed, religion-based behavior makes the anti-choice war a conservative, Christian, religious crusade. It's right-wing, conservative Christians against the infidels, which in essence is conservative Christians against everybody else, including moderate and open-minded (liberal)° Christians. Who Decides: Christians claim to be followers of Jesus. Jesus said nothing about abortion. In the absence of conclusive evidence from their religious icon, who or what are they following? And how can they force their theology onto the billions who follow other religious philosophies. They claim God as their authority for opposing abortions, but if their theology is right, then the Christian Bible is wrong° and God is the world's most despicable abortionist and baby killer.° For
a detailed analysis of this issue, please see

. Life's Three Basic Assumptions: When we examine intentional pregnancy termination within each of life's three major assumptions, Christian one-life-ism, atheism, and reincarnation,° we find three very different conclusions regarding what abortion is and what it means. One then has to ask, "Which of these three assumptions is correct?" No one can provide us with a conclusive answer that question because there are no provable answers,° only conjecture, guesswork, speculation, and stories made up by our ancient ancestors. Thus, the question, "Is abortion right or wrong?" belongs the realm of religion and philosophy where it has been hotly debated for centuries. In a free society, beliefs about reality, including guesswork, conjecture, speculation, and Medieval religious fairytales° are not the basis for passing secular laws which force one group's religious beliefs onto everyone else. Attempting to do so clearly violates our God-granted and Constitutionally guaranteed right to religious freedom! . |
.

|
. Four Additional factors: 1) Follow the Money Trail: You've probably heard this truism: "If you want to know the truth about anything on planet Earth, follow the money trail." Well, that also applies to the anti-choice war. See the page titled: Controversy Sells, and It's a Multi-billion Dollar Business.° 2) God Is a Baby Murderer: The forced motherhood leaders claim God as their authority for opposing abortions. BUT: if their theology is correct, then God is, by far, the vilest, cruelest, most despicable and most detestable baby murdered° in all of human history. And Genesis 2:7° and Ecclesiastes 11:5, RSV° in the Christian Bible must be wrong. 3) Who Is the Real Leader of the Forced Motherhood Movement: In the absence of conclusive evidence about consequences and meaning of intentionally terminating a pregnancy, who or what are the forced motherhood leaders following?° Is it possible that they've been duped by the Devil on the abortion issue?° 4) Who Decides: In areas such as abortion -- areas where there is no tangible evidence to support any hard and fast conclusions, who do you want to make your irreversible, life-altering decisions? . |
.

|
. The Bottom Line: You can't know the significance of abortion until you can, with provable certainty, answer the above questions and dozens more equally puzzling and equally unanswerable, religious questions.° Any conclusions regarding abortion that are turned into secular law and forced onto people cannot be based only on religious fairytales.° (More Evidence)° In order to provide provable answers about what abortion really is and what it means, those answers must be based upon knowledge about God, and provide provable answers to each of the above religious questions. Answering the above religious questions is quite literally impossible. Philosophers, scientists, and religious scholars have been debating these questions for centuries and the only concrete answer they have yet offered is that: . When
discussing God or religion, . Your Choice: You are foolish to believe what we say. You are equally as foolish if you disbelieve us. But you are a fool's fool if you simply ignore our message. We invite you to look at the evidence, here and elsewhere. Let the evidence lead you where it will. Then make up our own mind about how you will respond to the truth. "Know the truth and the truth will set you free." .
. When we examine what abortion is and what it means, billions of people believe stories (religious or otherwise) that are different from those being peddled by the forced motherhood leaders. This leads us to the following conclusion: . |
|
. Abortion Is a Religious Freedom Issue! We
Challenge You, . To anti-choice media, we say: "Invite us to discuss the religious aspect of the abortion issue on your radio or TV talk shows." To church leaders who support forced motherhood, we say: Invite us to discuss the religious aspects of the abortion issue in front of your church members. Let's let the evidence speak for itself: We dare you to expose your audience or your church members to the evidence supporting the conclusion that abortion is a religious freedom issue, and then you or anybody else can offer any evidence you can find to prove our claim to be wrong. To those who favor forced motherhood, we say, "It's time to walk your talk." You claim to be in favor of free speech. You claim to be in favor of religious freedom. Prove it! The evidence, such as the Global Gag Rule,° points strongly in the opposite direction. If your words are more than just hollow shells, then it's time to support those words with tangible, provable evidence. Let's openly and publicly talk about the relationship between forced motherhood, (anti-abortion) and religion. Let's let the evidence speak for itself. We think it's time for moderate and open minded Christians to take back Christianity.° . |

|
. If
You Favor Religious Extremism Let's find out which side in this controversy is using lies of omission.° Let's find out which side claims the Christian Bible as its authority and then ignores the passages that contradict its claims. (Genesis 2:7, Ecclesiastes 11:5, and more)° Let's find out which side in this controversy is stifling freedom of speech.° Let's find out which side in this controversy is distorting the truth and using inflammatory rhetoric.° Let's find out which side in this controversy is simply transferring death to other beings in other places at other times.° We offer you the opportunity to prove you are right° and everybody else is wrong: Take the Abortion Truth Challenge.° We invite you to prove the validity of your claims to have the answers to life's unanswerable questions° -- questions such as "How does God function?" (Ecclesiastes 11:5)° and "When does an independent human life begin?"° Then let's talk about forced motherhood. Let's talk about the consequences of anti-choice activities.° Let's talk about what it does to the women and to the naive young girls who are forced to become baby factories.° Let's talk about what you did today to save the lives of the 40,000 children who starved to death today or died of curable diseases° -- and the 40,000 who will die tomorrow, and the 40,000 who will die the day after that, and the day after that. Let's find out which side in this controversy is afraid of the truth. .
. "Know the truth and the truth shall set you free." (John 8:32) The evidence tells us that the truth about reality is so big that we can't know all of it. What if some of the stories currently being passed off as "the truth" about forced motherhood and abortion are less that the whole truth?° And one other question: Have you ever been wrong?° While you were being wrong, did you know you were wrong? Is it possible that you are wrong about something, right now? . |
