Why Send These Cards?

1)   Because anti-abortion hypocrisy and anti-abortion absurdity has gotten way our of hand. 

2)   Because questions and complaints to the media and to the perpetrators of the absurd   (when presented in the normal fashions,  phone calls, letters, faxes, and the like)   are simply ignored.   

Men like Bishop Burke usually get away with making absurd proclamations for three main reasons:   

1)  Because the abortion controversy is such a complicated issue, the media people don't know the right questions to ask.

2)  Many of the media people are afraid to ask the tough questions.   They are well aware of the silent censorship that is imposed upon them by those who own the media and by those who control the governments.   (i.e.   Ask too many tough question and you soon find yourself on a new assignment reporting about sandstorms  in Morocco.)

3)   Without public exposure, the peddlers of  hypocrisy usually don't have to answer to their peers or constituents.  They simply ignore the opposition.
