Where Are We Right Now?  

"Business as usual" simply has not worked in the past, is not working now, and with George Bush in the White House for another four years, you can guarantee it's not going to work in the near future.   In this next four-year political cycle, the only way to save Roe v Wade, the only way to save the Democratic Party, and the only way to gain equal rights for all people regardless of their sexual orientation  is to introduce a major change in tactics!   That tactical change involves squarely and strongly addressing the moral values issue.

1)   Defining and Clarifying Moral Values:    

Were the " moral values" voted for in the 2004 Presidential election universally accepted, compassionate, loving, divinely inspired  principles, or were they simply expressions of fundamentalist Christian theology?

When you look beneath the surface illusions peddled so eloquently by the ultra-conservative Christian leaders, you'll notice that the so-called moral values issues which so strongly influenced the 2004 election are actually neither moral nor inherently valuable to the community at large.   They're merely well disguised expressions of closed-minded, ultra-conservative,  Christian theology.   It's their -- us-against-them --  one-way-my-way --  mentality brought into the political arena.   For the summary page outlining a solution to this problem, please see the page titled:  The Truth About Moral Values.°

2)    Opposing Forced Motherhood --  And Supporting Women's
        Reproductive Rights:   

The Pro-truth Team has defined the case for choice in a thoroughly researched, well-developed, and fully functional program which, when properly  implemented, will pull the false, self-righteous foundation out from under the forced motherhood movement and KEEP ABORTION LEGAL.   

We are presenting this in-depth view of the abortion issue in the form of an entertaining novel and a film.   We have a specific page outlining how to end the anti-abortion war on the page titled:  How to Overturn The Political Steamroller of the Conservative Christians and  End the Anti-abortion  War   and the details of our up and coming  novel and film,  "The Reasonables,"  on the page titled:    The Case for Choice°

The Overall Project:

This project is about addressing the moral values issue.°  It's about standing up to a very small, but very determined group of ultra-conservative, Christian leaders.   These men are to Christianity  as Osama Bin laden is to Islam.  They do not represent all of Christianity any more than Osama Bin laden represents all of Islam.  They are far more clever that Bin laden because they hide behind deception°  and lies of omission.° 

Although this project focuses on two specific objectives:

1)   Producing a book/film about ending the absurdity of forcing women to become mothers against their will,°  and

  2)  Initiating  a legal processes that will result in acquiring equal rights for all people regardless of marital status or sexual preference,° 

it's really about social transformation.°   It's a joint effort, it's a coalition of like minded people from several walks of life working together for their mutual well being.    Rather than ruling by domination, intimidation, and brute force,  our program, our goals, and our specific objectives are focused on our common interests, out of which decisions are made by consensus.°

Our goal is to bring together people who are self-aware enough to understand that living with an open mind and an open heart makes our earthly lives much more peaceful, abundant and joyous.   It's about creating a coalition of what we label as "The Reasonables."°

Who Is Standing With Us?  

We (The Pro-Truth Team)  are bringing in people from six seemingly different groups with six seemingly different agendas  into a focused program designed to accomplish positive and constructive, mutually beneficial goals for the members of all six groups.  

We are bringing together major players in:

The pro-choice movement, 

The gay and lesbian community, 

The entertainment industry, 

The moderate and progression part of the Christian community,

Members of the Democratic Party. and

The social group we refer to as "The Reasonables."°  

We are combining forces to expose the false, self-righteous foundation of the Christian extremists who are attempting to force an ultra-conservative Christian theocracy onto the American people.   We are initiating a three-pronged approach to addressing the so-called "moral values" issue.

Defining Our Audience:

Regardless of what evidence we offer, we don't expect the hard core the anti-abortion followers to change their minds.   That's impossible.   Why?   Because they don't have any minds when it comes to thinking independently about anything their leaders tell them.  They never question authority.   They just blindly follow orders out of fear of going to hell if they don't follow those orders.   

There is; however, a significant audience to whom we are directing our attention.  Please see the section:  Who is our Audience -- to whom are we directing our message?°

Control by Illusion:   

We  must also address the issue of intentionally manipulating people's belief systems.    Why?   Because a person's belief system controls his/her behavior.   Beliefs create the context° which dominates and controls his/her entire life.   It also controls for whom he/she votes in a political election.   

The leaders of Christian extremism  have intentionally manipulated the belief systems of their followers.°   And they didn't do it alone.   They did it with the encouragement of and under the watchful eye of the Christian-talking but atheist-acting, self-centered multi-millionaires who, behind the scenes, own the structures that control the Republican Party.°  

The evidence set forth on our web sites will explain how and why illusions are much more powerful, more effective, and more successful at controlling others than is using  tanks, guns and prison bars.   We will show you the tools of manipulation°  and also how to remain free in the face of lies, illusions, and half truths.°
