Why Forced Motherhood Is Immoral:

First and foremost, forced motherhood violates a woman's God-granted right of self-determination.   Forced motherhood means her body belongs not to her, but to the state.   She becomes forced into servitude as a baby factory.   And below in horrifying detail is what that means:

Bearing a child has a multitude of life-changing, irreversible, long-term ramifications for the woman, herself, and for everyone her life touches.   The first and most significant effect of pregnancy is on the woman herself.   The decision to bear or not bear a child affects and alters:

her life style -- her standard of living -- her social life -- her social status -- her financial earning capacity -- her actual income level -- her financial well being -- her family -- her friends -- her choice of friends -- her relationship with the man who got her pregnant -- and all the rest of her personal relationships -- her education level -- her career -- the entirety of the rest of her life, particularly, the next 18 years required to raise a child -- her physical body --her physical beauty -- her sex life - her sexual appeal -- her emotional well-being -- her psychological health -- her physical health -- and, it could even cost her her life.

And if that's not enough, there are the hundreds of thousands of dollars required to adequately raise and educate a child, and the countless days and hours of tedious labor involved, not to mention that some women are required to give up their life's dream simply because they were pressured into sex that they didn't want by someone they really didn't care for that resulted in a pregnancy they were completely unprepared for.

Is it not obvious that pregnancy and potential motherhood are incredibly personal, private, religious and medical issues that should be addressed by the woman herself, within the context of her own needs, desires, conditions, and circumstances and with the support of family, friends and with the guidance of her medical and spiritual advisors.

Why could anybody with any common sense and with even the slightest bit of concern for the pregnant woman's health and well being propose anything else?.   They wouldn't.   Then who would and why?   That’s another story for another time.

Who Supports Forced Motherhood and Why:

The supporters of forced motherhood fall into three categories.   First, there are the mindless followers who just do as they’re told.   These people have been taught that their human life on Earth is simply a one time event, that human life is a testing ground to see who is good enough to get into heaven, and that giving up their freedom for mindless obedience to church leaders is their ticket to that heaven.   They’ve also been taught that their church leaders are speaking for God and to question God is to risk eternal damnation.   Let’s go back into history and see where their belief system came from.

Suppose, for a moment that you are an innocent, impressionable little kid, who believes that big people (adults) are the authorities and that they know the truth.   These big people tell you that the Earth is flat, and that you must be careful not to anger a an invisible superhuman, called God, who sits above your head on the cloud somewhere, because if you do, you will be turned over to an invisible, evil, sadistic degenerate devil who lives in a pit of fire beneath your feet.

Everybody you know believes this story, and they walk around in fear.   They kneel and pray to this skylord.   They beg him for favors.   They even kill and burn animals to appease this god.  Some even kill and burn their fellow humans in a futile attempt to appease this god  and, still, he punishes people for no reason that anybody can figure out.   Some men even walk around whipping themselves because, as the big people tell you, suffering is the only ticket to the skylord’s heaven.   They tell you that if you don't get into this skylord's heaven when you die, your in deep trouble.  Living in that context, what are you going to believe as a little kid?   How is that going to affect your adult beliefs and behavior?   For centuries, this story has been handed down from generation to generation.

In recent years, the flat-Earth part has been forced out of the beliefs system, but the rest of this fairytale is alive and well.   The exact details have changed, (like "where heaven is" and "how to suffer")  but million still believe the essence of this story in one fashion or another.

With the advent of rocket science, God has moved heaven, so the True believers no longer know where to find it.   And as for where hell is today, that topic is on the “don’t talk about it list,” so it appears that our forced motherhood friends have not only lost heaven, they’ve lost hell, too.

The second category is the forced motherhood leaders.  Most of these people are also Christian church leaders.   They oppose women’s reproductive rights for the same reasons as their mindless followers.   They, too, are kind loving people who simply cannot conceive of questioning what they learned about God when they were defenseless, little kids.   They are doing what they believe is the right thing to do.

From here things get more than a bit sinister.   Hiding among the loving and caring church leaders you will find the third category of forced motherhood supporters.   If you look carefully, and you must look carefully, you’ll find a small coven of self-centered money lovers, glory hounds, and the con artists.   These con artists are really not that hard to find.

Hint #1    Just follow the money trail.
Hint #2
By their fruits you shall know them.
Hint #3
   Note the company they keep.
Hint #4
Look for the wolves in sheep's clothing.

These sleaze artists realize that telling religious stories and peddling forced motherhood is a multi-billion dollar business.   It’s their ticket to wealth, secret sex, power, and fame.   It’s a way to hobnob with the rich and famous.    There’s not a slicker con game on the entire planet.   And if they get caught, the worst that happens is they get kicked off the gravy train.

These people know the truth about abortion.   They know the entire forced motherhood war defies the bible.  (Genesis 2:7,   Ecclesiastes 11:5, RSV)   They know the price of defying God.  (Revelation 22:18-19,   Mark 9:42,  Romans 14:12-13)   They know that public prayer defies the Bible.  (Matthew6:5-6)

They know that lies of omission (lying by withholding the truth) are serious god-punishable acts.  (Mark 10:19)   They know that to continually and repeatedly commit the same sin time after time is a “sin of lifestyle,” **1 and according to Christian theology, is not forgiven.   It’s a guaranteed ticket to hell.

They know that God’s instantaneous, supernatural, transcendental, conception magic act is an unprovable Medieval, religious fairytale.**2   They know that abortion is a religious freedom issue.**3   They know all this but the just keep on peddling their stories and they keep on raking in the money.
