A Plea for Sanity:  We honor your intentions to save innocent lives.   But supporting the false, self-righteous, anti-abortion activities of the fundamentalist Christians is once again dragging the Catholic Church down into the age-old sewer of Christian extremism.   The message bellow offers evidence you need to be aware of.

The First Example:   

The Catholic Encyclopedia defines "LIFE:"  ^°  
This official Roman Catholic Encyclopedia^°  clearly states a doctrine contrary to the present public statements of church leaders.   It offers a six-thousand, four-hundred, and fifty-four-word (6,454-word) dissertation on the meaning of this single word, and the definition of "LIFE" is still not clear.   Here's their opening paragraph:

In spite of Roman Catholic Church's present public proclamation that life begins at conception, in the Catholic Encyclopedia (which the church, itself declare to be official  Catholic teachings)  there is no clear definition of what life is or when it begins.   In fact, in the church's own official text, church leaders admit that they simply don't know.   

Gentlemen, how can the church publicly deny its own theology?  When this hypocrisy reaches full public disclosure, which it soon will,  denying church doctrine could be equally as embarrassing as the molesting children scandals.   To continue hiding the lie is no  longer an option.   Please!   Get yourselves out of this mess as quickly as possible.   

The Second Example:   The evidence overwhelming indicates that abortion is a religious freedom issue.   We have explained clearly and in considerable detail why this is so on our web site page titled:  Why Abortion Is A Religious Freedom Issue.^°   Please examine this page.   You might also note that the fundamentalist Christian anti-abortionists are defying the United Sates Constitution,^°  the intent of which is to honor all religions and to prevent any one religion from passing its doctrine into secular law.

Then take The Abortion truth Challenge.^°   Show us anywhere on that page, or on either of our web sites, that we are in error or have listed false, misleading or inaccurate  information.   Show us where we are using lies of omission or denying the Bible, or adding to the Bible.   Can the public statements of the American Roman Catholic church leaders pass the truth challenge?  Unfortunately, they can't, and you know they can't.

I'm sure you are aware that the Bible clearly warns readers of the dire consequences of  intentionally deceiving others.

The Third Example:   Saint Louis, Archbishop Burke is in deep doo doo with his no communion declaration.   Apparently he doesn't know the purpose of communion.  One thing it isn't is a political football.    We have a description of the purpose, meaning, and proper use of the Sacrament of Communion on our web site at:

Please educate Archbishop burke on this matter and get him to retract his ridiculous no-communion statement before investigations exposes the real Catholic hypocrisy and your entire house of cards^°  comes crashing down.   With computes and the Internet, you can no longer simply hide your lies.

The Fourth Example:   Surely, you must know that the fundamentalist Christian  anti-abortion  stance is based entirely on  an unprovable, Medieval, religious fairytale.^°    This belief has absolutely no scriptural support.   Neither do the five basic assumptions^° of the fundamentalist Christian  anti-abortion leaders.    As you well know,  the Bible Clearly warns readers of the dire consequences of preaching messages that are not in the Bible and the dire consequences of pretending that certain  biblical passages do not exist.

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.   And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book."   Revelation 22:18-19

The Fifth Example:   Simply examine the behavior that the fundamentalist Christian anti-abortion leaders support, endorse or condone.^°   This is certainly not behavior that the modern Catholic Church should be in any way associated with.

The Sixth Example:   The hidden and indirect costs of outlawing abortion stagger the imagination.^°   There are far more efficient, cheaper, and far more effective ways of saving innocent lives.^°  Present anti-abortion activities and present laws restricting access to abortions do not save lives.   They merely transfer death and misery to other beings at other times and places,  and in the process, create grief, misery and poverty for millions more.

The Seventh Example:   Outlawing abortion will not stop abortions.^°   and   The adoption option is simply not a realistic alternative.

The Eighth Example:   The Bible clearly distinguishes between spirit and Earthly physical bodies.   Here are just three examples   Genesis 2:7,   Job 33:4,  and   Ecclesiastes 11:5, RSV.°     The fundamentalist Christians are literally denying the Bible.

And again, we encourage you to re-read Revelation 22:18-19.

The Bottom Line:   Gentlemen, in the long run, the anti-abortion war is going to be a big-time loosing issue.   Are you sure you want to be tied to a sinking ship?   There is  a simple and effective way to step away from the mess you are in on this issue.    

Step out of the fray and let the fundamentalist Christians take the fall on this one.  

The Way Out:   You could simply say that you've done a thorough investigation of this issue and found a much more efficient way to save thousands more innocent babies.   You could make a big publicity campaign about how many more lives you are saving by focusing your attention on already born babies.   You know the public would buy that,  and in addition you'd be the hero of millions who presently think you're out of  touch with reality.   

You could we still say,  "We oppose abortion."   And the add  "But will not force our ways onto others."   You could say your investigation turned up this evidence that we had previously overlooked^°  and you have decided that it is in everyone's best interest to shift your priorities.   Share the evidence that you can find on our web sites.   Expand upon it.  Make it your own, and then give it to the world.

Admit you made a mistake.   Say you have prayed for forgiveness, and God immediately forgave you.   Now you are asking for forgiveness form the people.     If you share this revelation with the public, you'll not only become the heroes in the public eye, you'll revive the dying church at the same time.   

Team Work:   Just one of you alone can't make this happen, but several of you together can.  I know each of you can come up with several reasons to simply do nothing.   Whatever reasons you choose to justify your inaction, know that they are simply excuses for your lack of courage.   Go into your closets and pray about this.^°   Listen to God!   Listen to your hearts!

You are presently in a position similar to our founding fathers, one of whom said it aptly:  If we don't hang together, we'll hang separately.   The Catholic Church, as it is presently being run, is dying.   Please revitalize it!   To continue hiding the lie is no  longer a viable option.   Do you really want to spend the rest of your life defending the undefendable?

Dealing with Those Who Would Cause Others Harm^°      

We speak clearly and directly to those who, not liking the above messages, would intend and/or actually direct harm upon those who speak them into the world.   

These messages have thelight of protection from non-physical beings surrounding them, and any and  all  who in any way interfere with these messages place themselves squarely in harms way.

You may think this message is merely a fools folly.   If so, we  invite you to ask the fool who sent us the forty-nine e-mail viruses.   

When you look at what’s actually going on, you have to conclude that the vast majority of those who support “Resident” Bush fit into two categories.

The self interest, me first group who cares only about winning and will do, endorse, or go along with just about anything to keep the Republicans in power.  

If you pay attention to the news, you see/hear/read report after report about how the Republicans are doing, endorsing and promoting things that are:  1) devastating the economy,  2) destroying the environment,  3) stealing the life savings the working class,  4) endangering everyone’s health,  5)  reducing freedom,  6) stifling opportunities,  7) squandering billion so dollars, 8) creating a fascist police state,  9) reducing social services, 10) hiding behind secrecy, etc.    The self-interest people simply don’t care about what they are doing to others.   They’re in an  “us against them” war and winning is all that matters.

The second group is made up primarily of conservative and traditional Christians.   These people are mindless sheep who simply do whatever their church leaders tell them.     They don’t think for themselves.   Because of their training many of them simply do not know how to think for themselves.   They have been told since early childhood what to think and not the think for themselves.    They’ve also been told that if they deviate from what their leaders tell them, they could do something that would cause them to burn in hell forever.    Many are afraid of the responsibility that comes with freedom.    They fear making a mistake.    They’d rather simply follow directions. 

The first group is all but impossible to communicate with.    Self-interest is all that matters to them.    The second group contains within it a small faction (and yet, a significant number of people) with whom we can communicate if we talk Bible talk.

Remember the first and foremost rule in getting someone to understand your message is to speak in a language that they understand.    In the case of conservative Christians, one must speak in Bible related language and in terms of the listener’s eternal salvation. 

Many of the conservative Christians do care about the ten items listed above, but they also believe that Mr. Bush is a born-again Christian, and that he is bringing Christian values into the government.   These two factors are extremely important to mindless Christians --  important enough to make completely overlook all the negativity that the Republicans are engaged in.    They simply ignore anything that does not support their belief that Mr. Bush is working for them.
