Abortion And Social Transformation:

The forced motherhood controversy is actually a forum for the evolution of human consciousness. Of course this conflict is about abortion, but it's also about much more than that.°

On the higher, grander scheme of things, this conflict offers an opportunity for us, as a global society, to:

1) re-examine the unprovable assumptions° (the illusions) that we believe and act upon as if they were provable truths,

2) acknowledge that there are vitally important questions about who and what we are that we simply cannot answer with physically provable certainty, and

3) accept what the overwhelming evidence tells us is our position in the grand picture of reality that some call "God" and others call, "The Universe." (An Additional Reference)°

Of particular importance in this transformation is examining the antiquated, Medieval, religious fairytale° that is the critical foundation of the forced motherhood promoters. The forced motherhood controversy is so distorted and the long-term consequences of anti-choice activities are so damaging° that one could easily say:

The Christian rightwing extremist are to Christianity
as Osama Bin laden is to Islam.

Another way to say this is:

It's time for moderate
and open-minded Christians to take back Christianity!

We say to those who are telling the world how moral and righteous they are, "It's time for you to walk your talk."

So Let's Talk Turkey --

Regarding what we are presently call "moral values," sooner or later, we are going to have to face the music and pay the piper, because "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch."

Is there anything dysfunctional about the language used in the above statement? Is it a distorted way of saying: "We need to speak the truth about what we have labeled as "moral values."° Why" Because there are costs and consequences that come along with the present stories we so readily, and without question, accept as if they were the truth."?

Unfortunately, distorted language is all too pervasive in our culture, and much of it has been around for so long that nobody seems to notice or question it. As a specific example, I again refer the readers to the antiquated, Medieval, religious fairytale° that is the critical foundation of the forced motherhood promoters.

What is being peddled as "moral values" is neither moral nor inherently valuable. It's a bastardized version of conservative Christian theology disguised as moral values. It degrades Christianity, it attempts to destroy religious freedom, and it's a serious disservice to all of humanity. Sexual Insanity -- Sexual Fear -- Sexual Abstinence

Many of the Christian extremist leaders believe that pregnancy is God's punishment for unmarried sex. We find it a bit strange that God only punishes the females. The Christian extremist leaders say that men are merely "sowing their wild oats." Their complete public silence on the masculine responsibility and accountability aspect of the abortion controversy is, in essence, saying that male sexual promiscuity is a trivial transgression to be merely forgiven and forgotten by God, but feminine unmarried sexual activity is extremely bad and deserves to be severely punished.°

But then, these are the same people who believe that AIDS is actually God, sitting on a white Cloud somewhere in a place called heaven, dealing out punishment for gay sex and for drug use. If their fairytale is true, then it's true that this so-called God is also punishing millions of innocent people by making sex a life threatening event. How many loving and faithful wives have lost their lives to AIDS brought home to them by an unfaithful husband? How many innocent children have become orphans, or suffered and died, themselves, from AIDS? Imagine for a moment worshiping a God as sick as that.°

But then, these are the same people who are engaging in, supporting, endorsing, and/or condoning behavior similar to what Adolph Hitler's henchmen engaged in.° But you needn't believe us. Simply visit some of the so-called Christian, pro-life web sites. Some of these sites have taken the "us against them" mentality to the extreme, including violence harassment, assault, arson and murder.

These are the same people who are proposing a constitutional amendment to enforce their sexual bigotry.°

These are the same people who are pushing forced motherhood° onto every woman who ever gets pregnant, regardless of the circumstances.

And these same people who are basing their entire forced motherhood program on an antiquated, Medieval, religious fairytale.° (Here's as second view of God's Conception Magic Act.°)

Did you know that "the god of the forced motherhood leaders" goes all over the Earth flushing millions of his newly created human beings down the world's toilets?° (That is in the places that have toilets)

Don't you think it's time to wake up and reject this insanity?

It's Never Themselves:

Here's something that you may not have noticed about our forced-motherhood-peddling, so-called moral leaders: Did you ever notice that it's always someone else that these people are demanding make the changes. It's always someone else who is wrong. It's never themselves.

It's always someone else who is placed in harms way. It's someone else who does the suffering and the dying. It's someone else or someone else's children in all those flag-draped coffins. It's never themselves.

It's always someone else's beliefs about God that are just mythology. It's always someone else who is wrong. It's always someone else's behavior that is immoral or unethical. It's never themselves.

It's always someone else who is a hypocrite.° One has to ask if these people really believe in their own sacred text. Here are just three examples:

"Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."

Matthew 7:5 and Luke 6:42

"... He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone... "

John 8:7

"If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?"

John 4:20

There are literally dozens of admonitions that are also being ignored. Please see the page titled: Relevant Biblical Passages.° And if the forced motherhood promoters really believed the Bible, wouldn't you think the passage below would have them trembling in their boots?

“. . . And whoever shall cause one of these little ones who believes in me to stumble, it is better for him that an ass’s millstone were hanged on his neck, and that he were thrown into the sea.”

Mark 9:42

It doesn't, so we wonder who these people really are. We also wonder why our forced motherhood peddling friends are not asking us to look for the "wolves in sheep's clothing" the Jesus warned us about.

Addressing the Moral Values Issue:

In the 2004 Presidential election, twenty-two percent of the electorate voted for what they believed to be the candidate with the highest moral values. In reality, these people did not vote for moral values. They voted for a bastardized version of Christian theology. ^1** Most of these people were mindless believers in conservative Christian theology and and ardent followers of their church leaders. They voted with their minds turned off. They voted exactly as their leaders told them to vote. They voted against abortion rights, against gay rights, against stem cell research. ^2**

It's nice to think of our religious leaders as role models for right, ethical, moral and just behavior, and indeed the vast majority of then are exactly that. BUT... hidden among them is a small coven of the Devil's agents.°

To find the wolves hiding in sheep's clothing, all we have to do is examine the evidence. Simply look at: What they actually do° / What they ignore in their own Bible° / How they deceive others with lies of omission° / Their unethical-immoral behavior,° / Why they do it,° / The techniques they use,° / The company they keep,° / the inevitable Consequences of their actions,° / The Rapture° / and The unprovable fairytale° that their entire anti-choice war is based on.

You might also note that relative to the average person, and relative to the average clergyman, the wolves live "pretty high on the hog." Their life styles are that of wealth and the privilege.

Programming the Mind:

You are probably familiar with the cardinal rule of manipulation and control: "Program the child's mind and you have him/her as an adult." It's been the core of domination and manipulation for centuries. By far the most successful master of this technique has been the Roman Catholic Church, with fundamental Christianity taking a strong second. **1

The Catholic/ Christian education process is the mindless learning of Christian theology. Everything is taught as if it were a provable fact. There is no place to say, "I wonder about _____. or "What do you suppose that means?

Simple Addition and Subtraction:

The leaders talk as if the Christian Bible were their only authority, but it isn't. They teach dozens of things that are not in the Bible. Numerous beliefs have been introduced into Christianity that have no Biblical support. Three examples are Christian anti-sex, God's conception magic act, and original sin. Over the centuries a rather extensive theology has evolved that is now accepted as being true with no evidence to support it. They also ignore numerous passages that are in the Bible such as Genesis 2:7, Mark 9:42, and Romans 14:14.

The Bible as Evidence:

For their public arguments they often use the Christian Bible as evidence. Using the Bible as evidence has some major problems such as everything written in it has to be accepted on faith; it contains numerous conflicting statements; and it can be used to support both sides in the current, major controversies (abortion, gay rights, capital punishment, evolution).

To question a leader's word is blasphemy, punishable by banishment from the flock and threat of eternal damnation.

On the opposite pole, Russian fascism, under the disguise of communism, attempted to dominate and control by physical force. After seventy years of violence, fear, and intimidation, and even though Stalin murder seventy million Russian to maintain his power, the process was a dismal failure. When the world woke up, Russian fascism/ communism simply collapsed like a house of cards.
