More of God with an Ego and an Attitude --   According to the Fundamentalist Christian Teachings

u   Deception by telling a lie is bad.   Deception by withholding the truth is good.*                                          *Reference:    Lies of Omission° 

u   The world is run by chance or on God's personal whims. 

u   God plays favorites.   We're not sure how he does this, why he does this and on what basis he makes his decisions, but he heaps great good fortune onto some,  untold misery onto other, and pretty much ignores everybody else.   Did you ever wonder why He makes those behind the illicit drug dealers the wealthiest people on the planet?

u   God is perfect, but he made you and me defective and inherently evil.    God made us in his image.   God can and will reject you.   

u   There is another place where God isn't.   It's called hell.   Satan rules there.   Unless you follow God's orders, as spoken by the church leaders, God will reject you, abandon you, and punish you forever.   You will be turned over to the evilest, vilest, filthiest, dirtiest, most loathsome, most sadistic being in all of creation.   Once Satan gets you, you're gone forever.   God instructs the church leaders to encourage parents to teach this story to their impressionable, little children.   Why?  Because it's good for business.   It's a great behavior modifier.   You know, "Get the child's mind and you've got him as an adult."

u   God has needs and  requirements are different from yours and mine.   We're not sure what those needs and requirements are, but if you don't satisfy them, you will be punished.

u   The Earth, the universe, and human beings are separate from God.   There is a "place" where God ends and the universe begins.   The Catholic leaders teach that God is all-powerful, all-knowing and all-present, and yet they teach that there is a "place" where God ends and you begin.

u   There is a place where who and what you are ends.   There is a place where who and what I am ends.   You and I are separate.      

u   God has a limited supply of the things we need.   In order for one us to have Earthly goods, the other must do without.   Our job is to compete with each other, to fight and if necessary kill the other, in order to get that limited supply the God's Earthly goods and services.   If we can't get the other guys material possessions, our job is to destroy them.

u   You are separate from God.   God is out there somewhere in a place called heaven.   

u   The only way to belong to the family of God,  (be one of God's children and get into heaven) is to devote at least a portion of your life, your time and your money to the church of God's one and only true religion.   Your ticket to heaven is to follow the orders of your Church's leaders.    If you question a leader or fail to follow orders, you'll go to hell and burn forever.

u   God has several true religions.   The believers in each of these true religions are supposed to go out and convert or kill those who believe on one of God's other true religions.

u   God is the ultimate baby murderer   He rejects most of the humans he makes.   The vast majority are simply tossed into God's Cosmic trash bin°  because they didn't get wet and prayed over by the right holy man.

u   Suffering is Good.   Pleasure, particularly sexual pleasure is bad.*   God doesn't tell us why sex is bad.   It just is.   Perhaps it's because the more you suffer the closer you are to God.          *Reference:   Sex and Sin°     

u   This is the same God that the forced motherhood peddlers ( the anti-choice, fundamentalist Christian Creationists) claim made the entire universe in six Tuesday, Wednesday kind of days.
